Most Volkswagen models can go about 10,000 miles before they need maintenance. Once you’ve hit this milestone, it’s time to come see us for oil and filter changes. We’ll also do fluid checks and top off any that are low. A brake pad inspection will be completed to see if they need to be replaced, and we’ll rest the interval display if necessary!
The next time we’ll have you come in is when you hit 20,000 miles. We’ll change the oil and filters again, as well as check the brake fluid and coolant levels. We’ll also check your tires for their inflation level, tread, and Tire Pressure Monitoring System. Finally, we’ll check the battery and inspect the entire vehicle for any leaks.
After 10,000 more miles comes the 30,000-mile check. Unless there are issues you’re concerned with, we’ll spend time checking all the fluids, filters, brakes, and oil. 40,000 miles however is exactly like the 20,000-mile check. Once you reach 50,000 the intervals will continue every 10,000 miles!
